Aflac FAQsWhat if I already have the Aflac accident plan? If you applied for the accident policy before April 27, 2009, then you have the old accident plan. While this plan is a great plan, it has exclusions for racing any type vehicle in an organized event, and competing in any sporting activity for wage, compensation, or profit. How do I get the new plan that covers action sports? Simple, all you need to do is apply for the new coverage and when asked if you have a current accident policy, just indicate yes, enter the requested information, and your policy will be converted to the new plan as long as you are approved. Is there a waiting period for benefits? You are eligible for benefits on Day 1 of your effective date if you have a covered accident. |
